About this Piece
A tobacco jar that is also a pipe rest: the domed lid has a round hollow with a channel leading out of it, so your pipe can lie on top of the jar while you smoke. This is a smooth wooden tobacco jar with a metal band between the jar and its cap, pre-used and in very good condition, with scratches and dents around the surface.
The body is rounded, and the metal band forms the rim where the lid sits. Inside, the jar is lined, and the lining is printed with small drawings of pipes and smoking tools: a bent pipe, a long pipe with tassels, crossed sticks and a tool.
