About this Piece
ORIGINAL KAVATZA, pressed into a stitched leather patch framed with scroll ornament: that is the only mark on this leather tobacco pouch.
Closed, the pouch shows its suede side. Four metal press studs hold it shut, two at the end of the flap and two on the body. Open it, and the inside is smooth leather with a pebbled grain. The patch sits on the inner face of the flap.
Under the flap lies the main pocket, and a zip runs along its opening. On the lower inside panel two suede strips are sewn on as slots.
A pouch like this keeps loose tobacco and a smoker's small things together, and it folds flat for a jacket pocket.
