Svendborg Bark 308 Sandblast Bent Brandy Pipe, Danish Hand Made, with Sleeve

This sandblasted bent brandy is stamped Svendborg in script, with DANISH / HAND MADE and BARK on the shank and 308 in the blast. It is made for a 9mm filter. It is pre-smoked and in very good condition.

THE SHAPE AND THE STEM
A brandy bowl is rounded, fuller low down and closing in toward the rim, like a brandy glass. Here the sandblast covers the bowl with deep ridges, while the end of the shank next to the stem is smooth. The black vulcanite stem is bent and narrows gradually toward the bit, which flares out at the end in a fishtail. A small mark sits on the top of the stem.

THE SLEEVE
The pipe comes with an original old cloth sleeve printed SVENDBORG / DANISH HANDMADE PIPES with a sailing ship.
