HISTORICAL CONTEXT: Stanwell is one of the world's largest pipe manufacturers, known for its high-quality Danish design and craftsmanship.
GRADING & MARKS: A Stanwell factory 'second', sold under the Kong Christian sub-brand. Stamped KONG CHRISTIAN with shape number 06 and MADE IN DENMARK. As a factory second it does not carry the STANWELL name stamp or the crown/'S' logo; no other dots or hallmarks.
SHAPE ANALYSIS: Large bent brandy sitter with a saddle stem, classic Danish design.
BRIAR & FINISH: Medium brown smooth briar with natural grain, no apparent fills or repairs.
CONDITION REPORT: Excellent overall condition. Minor rim wear, chamber in excellent condition, stem intact with light oxidation.
DIMENSIONS: Length - 5.0 inches (127 mm), Bowl Height - 2.0 inches (50.8 mm), Outside Bowl Diameter - 1.25 inches (31.75 mm), Chamber Diameter - 0.75 inches (19.05 mm), Weight - ~1.13 oz (33 grams).
