Real Briar Size 4 Smooth Straight Billiard, Vulcanite Tapered Stem, No Filter

REAL BRIAR is the only word on the shank, in clear letters - and the pipe behind it is a large size 4 smooth billiard, made for a relaxing long smoke.

It is a straight billiard in smooth briar, with a vulcanite tapered stem, a fishtail mouthpiece and no filter.

The stamp names the wood, not a maker.

THE MARKS

- REAL BRIAR on the left side of the shank

Here the bowl has straight, upright walls and meets the shank at about a right angle.

The vulcanite stem tapers evenly toward the mouthpiece, and the fishtail tip is broad and thin. There is no filter.

The finish is smooth on the bowl and the shank.

Condition: pre-smoked, in good condition, with faint scratches and dents around the briar and tiny bite marks. Please see the photos.
