About this Piece
BRUYERE over GARANTIE, two lines of capitals on the shank, marks this smooth bent billiard; BRUYERE is clear and GARANTIE a little fainter. It has an acrylic tapered stem, a fishtail mouthpiece and no filter.
It is pre-smoked and in fair condition, with a tiny darkness, or burn spot, at the rim.
THE MARKS
- BRUYERE in capitals, stamped on the shank
- GARANTIE in capitals, under it
No date is given for this pipe.
On a billiard the bowl rises like a cylinder; here the pipe is bent. The bowl is 42 mm high and 33 mm wide, and a metal fitting sits on the tenon end of the stem.
The finish is smooth, with grain showing on the bowl.
