About this Piece
A man's face with a hat looks out from the front of this bowl, with a moustache and a pointed beard - a small pocket pipe of the kind that was very famous in Europe many years ago.
The brim of the hat sits above the face, and the eyes and nose are cut into the front of the bowl. The shank behind the face is smooth, and the underside of the bowl is a flat, smooth oval.
