HSB BRUYERE Sandblast Short Pot Nosewarmer Estate Pipe

HSB over BRUYERE, stamped on a smooth panel of the shank, is the only name on this sandblasted short pot, a pipe small enough to be called a nosewarmer.

It is pre-smoked, in very good condition. Both stamp lines are legible, with the first letter of BRUYERE a little worn; a small mark below them is too faint to read. The stem is vulcanite and tapered, ending in a fishtail mouthpiece, and there is no filter.

A pot is a short, wide bowl, and a nosewarmer is a pipe short enough that the bowl sits close to the nose when it is smoked. This one is 125 mm long overall, with a bowl 38 mm high and 39 mm wide, and a chamber 18 mm across and 29 mm deep.

The bowl and shank are sandblasted all round, with a rugged texture, and a smooth panel is left on the shank for the stamp. The rim is smooth.
