This is a Selected Svendborg, Danish handmade, a smooth bent apple on a black bent stem.

THE MARKS

- 318 on the shank
- Letters below it on the shank: an S and faint strokes, the rest cannot be read in the photographs

An apple is named for its rounded bowl. Here the round bowl is smooth, with flowing grain on the bowl and the shank, and the pipe is bent, so bowl and stem do not lie on one line.

No date is given for this pipe.
