Mypal Italy Smooth Straight Dublin Estate Pipe - Acrylic Saddle Stem

This MYPAL ITALY is a smooth straight Dublin pipe with a dark brown finish, an acrylic saddle stem and a fishtail bit. Farid records no filter and describes it as pre-smoked in very good condition, with rim dents and tiny scratches. The stamp close-up is included at the end of the photograph sequence.

The Dublin profile widens toward the rim from a narrower lower bowl. On this example, that flare is modest, with a rounded heel and a straight shank continuing into the black stem. The saddle forms a short step near the shank before the mouthpiece runs toward the bit. The smooth finish leaves the wood grain visible, with differences in color and figure across the photographed surfaces.

At 150mm long and 28g, the pipe combines a full-length straight outline with a relatively light recorded weight. Its chamber measures 20mm across and 35mm deep. The detached-stem photograph shows the metal tenon fitting; the no-filter specification comes from Farid's intake note.

THE MARKS
The shank close-up reads MYPAL above ITALY. Italy is part of the photographed stamp. No production year or additional model number is established by the available evidence, and no broader maker history is added to this example's description.

CONDITION
Pre-smoked in very good condition. Farid specifically discloses rim dents and tiny scratches, which remain part of the condition description. The rim and chamber view should be examined alongside the side, underside and detached-stem photographs. All ten photographs are retained; the overall condition grade does not remove the disclosed surface defects.
