Lorenzetti Italy Firenze Smooth Bent Billiard Estate Pipe, 9mm Filter

Lorenzetti in script over ITALY, and FIRENZE in capitals, stamped on the shank: this is a Lorenzetti smooth bent billiard on a shiny black acrylic stem.

The stem takes a 9mm filter and ends in a fishtail mouthpiece, and a ring framed by two thin metal lines finishes the shank end. FIRENZE and ITALY read clearly in the close-ups; the Lorenzetti script is harder to read letter by letter.

Firenze is the Italian name of Florence, so the stamps give a name, a country and a city. No date is given for this pipe.

A billiard is the classic pipe shape: a bowl shaped like a cylinder. On this bent example the bowl is 49 mm high and 40 mm wide around a chamber 20 mm across and 36 mm deep, and the whole pipe is 125 mm long.

The finish is smooth and glossy on the bowl and the shank.
