Gold Eagle Sandblast Straight Dublin Sitter, Vulcanite Saddle Stem, Fishtail

Ridges and hollows of a sandblast run across the walls of this Dublin bowl and along its shank, and the pipe is in amazing vintage condition. It is a straight sitter with GOLD EAGLE on the shank, a vulcanite saddle stem, a fishtail mouthpiece and no filter.

THE MARKS

- GOLD EAGLE on the shank (the D is faint)

A Dublin bowl usually opens toward the rim. A sitter is a pipe that stands upright on its own base when it is set down, so it can rest on a desk between bowls without a pipe stand. Here the bowl rises from a straight shank.

The sandblast covers both the bowl and the shank. The stem is vulcanite with a saddle, and it ends in a fishtail mouthpiece.

Condition: amazing vintage condition, as the photographs show.
