Dr Boston Monopoly is stamped on this bent billiard estate pipe, with France and 1304 visible in the second stamp photograph. The bowl and much of the shank have a dark textured finish, contrasting with the smooth reddish-brown upper bowl and stem junction. A long black acrylic tapered mouthpiece completes the curved profile.
The intake describes a sandblast and smooth finish. Side views show the rounded heel and the bowl rising above the shank, while the overhead photograph records the chamber and broad smooth rim. The contrast between the dark texture and polished wood is particularly clear around the upper bowl. Grain is visible in the smooth areas, including the shank panel carrying the markings.
THE MARKS
- DR BOSTON
- MONOPOLY
- FRANCE
- 1304
The stamp close-ups document the wording and number. France is reported as marked; no manufacturing date or factory history is assigned to this individual pipe from the available record.
THE STEM AND FITTING
Farid records an acrylic tapered stem, 9mm filter fitting and fishtail bit. The black mouthpiece follows a continuous curve from the shank toward its flattened end. A separate photograph shows the removed stem beside the bowl and exposes the fitting. The filter specification does not promise a supplied filter.
CONDITION
Pre-smoked and in very good condition, as recorded at intake. The photographs show both sides, the chamber and rim, underside, mouthpiece and separated stem, followed by the stamp close-ups. Please examine these views together for the individual finish details and signs of use and handling.
