This D-BRAND pipe is marked 311 and Ebony, with a dark, smooth bowl and a bent black acrylic saddle stem. Farid records the wood as ebony and describes the pipe as pre-smoked in very good condition. Its 86g weight is part of the character of this compact, full-bodied pipe.
The photographs show a rounded bowl with a low, full base. The shank rises into a curved stem. At the junction, the saddle creates a distinct step before the mouthpiece continues toward its fishtail bit. The dark surface catches broad reflections across the bowl; the close-ups also show lighter surface lines around the stamped area.
Farid records a 9mm filter fitting. The separated-stem photograph documents the tenon and the bowl and shank as separate parts. His intake note cautions that the ebony body can become hot quickly during smoking. That caution is retained here as his observation; it is not a promise of cooling or heat resistance.
THE MARKS
D-BRAND is visible on the shank, with a stylized D on the stem. The other close-up reads 311 above Ebony. These marks identify this example without establishing a production date or country of manufacture. No fuller maker history is supported by the available intake and photographs.
CONDITION
Pre-smoked in very good condition, as recorded by Farid. The photographs include the chamber opening, both sides, the underside, the detached stem and the stamp close-ups. Surface lines and marks visible in those close-ups should be considered with the overall condition grade. All eleven photographs are retained.
