Czechoslovakia Smooth Bent Billiard Estate Pipe - Metal Band, 6mm Filter

A country stamp, a compact curved profile and a broad metal collar give this pipe its identity. MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA is impressed into the smooth shank; no individual maker is named in the recorded marks.

The pipe is a smooth bent billiard, described at intake as a vest-pocket form. The rounded heel leads into a rising shank and a curved acrylic saddle stem. In the side photographs the bowl and stem form a compact sweep, while the bright metal band makes a clear dividing line between the warm brown wood and the black mouthpiece. THE SHAPE AND FITTINGS
The billiard bowl keeps a relatively upright outline above the rounded heel. Its smooth surface leaves the grain and changes in stain visible, rather than covering them with a carved texture. The saddle stem steps down behind its thicker base before following the bend toward the bit. The mouthpiece is recorded as a P-Lip type, and the fitting is recorded for a 6mm filter.
