Ronson England Dublin Estate Pipe

RONSON around the top of a round stamp, ENGLAND around the bottom, pressed into a black metal body: this is a Ronson England pipe with a removable sandblasted Dublin bowl, a pipe built in parts rather than cut from one block.

It is pre-smoked, in very good condition. The round Ronson stamp is legible.

Taken apart, the pipe shows how it works. The briar bowl lifts out of a black metal cup that forms the base of the pipe and runs on into the shank. The black mouthpiece, with a thin white ring, carries a long metal tube with an open, bent end. Put together, the bowl seats in the metal cup and the pipe stands straight from bowl to bit.

A Dublin bowl widens from the heel toward the rim; this one is 44 mm high and 36 mm wide, with a chamber 20 mm across and 34 mm deep.

The bowl is black and sandblasted all round, with a deep, rugged texture, while the metal body and shank are a matte black.

Condition: pre-smoked, in very good condition.
