About this Piece
A genuine soft red leather bag that carries a small collection in one place: seven pipes, their tampers and cleaning tools, and a tobacco tin. The leather is thin but still strong, smooth to the hand, with a nice color.
Inside, the bag opens flat into two halves. One half holds the seven pipe sockets in a row of leather loops. The other half carries the pockets: three for tampers, metal cleaning tools and pipe cleaners, one pocket for a tobacco tin, plus two larger pockets for any private use. All the inside material is a luxury cloth, silk-like.
A pipe bag of this kind keeps each pipe in its own place, with everything needed for a smoke kept beside it.
No maker's mark shows in the photographs.
Condition: pre-used, in very good condition. It hardly seems used, but long storage left some smell, so it is listed as very light use.
