About this Piece
A vintage wooden pipe holder with a place for six pipes, very classic in shape: a shape every pipe smoker should have at least one of. It is an open rack, two end panels joined by a top rail cut with six notches and a lower rail with six round cut-outs.
No maker's mark shows in the photographs.
A rack of this kind holds several pipes upright between smokes, each in its own place.
Condition: pre-used for a long time. The wood is dry and worn, lighter and grayish in places, and it needs some sanding; with polishing it would have a brand-new look. Please see the photographs for the condition of the wood.
