Italian Estate Brebbia: Tre Selected Smooth Bent Dublin 9mm Pipe. Condition is “Used”. Shipped with USPS First Class.
The earthy brown, high contrast stain of this Tre Selected bent Dublin (which brings out the briar’s grain in a stunning effect, by the way) gives the impression of a pipe that is organically inspired, but on closer examination, the natural gives way to the fabricated as one notices the perfectly smooth angular panels running down the bowl and shank. After realizing their are no perfectly straight lines or angles in nature (maybe other than the horizon line), the effect is a little unusual, at first, but soon, after letting the aesthetic soak in, the pipe seems perfectly balanced between the polarities, and a greater appreciation for the skill of the artisan arises.
