On the practical side of things, this Brebbia design is deep-chambered, thick-walled, and both pretty natural and engaging in hand. On the artistic side, it’s definitely not your stock-and-standard interpretation of the Volcano, both more substantial in the massing of the bowl, and more dynamic in its lines, with plenty of additional flourish brought into the composition by the smoothly flaring shank.
