The largest of Peterson’s iconic “bell” Calabashes, the “XL315″‘s lengthy curvature really shows off the unique Peterson shaping aesthetic. That might be interpreted as a round-about way of saying that their at times whimsical approach is in “full effect”, and, well, frankly I would hardly disagree. The whimsy is presented here, however, featuring Peterson’s inventive System for ensuring a cool, dry smoke, and sporting a handsome, medium-dark walnut contrast stain.
