Description
English Estates Dunhill Shell Briar Silver Army Mount (92) (1955-1960?) pipe.. Condition is “Used”. Shipped with USPS First Class.
Presmoked in good condition, the bowl has restored professionally, it was in very bad condition, but now is perfect, the white dot logo is renewed too.
When looking at a Dunhill with sterling, in the absence of a date stamp on the shank, we automatically shift to the assay mark on the mount. What if there is no assay mark? You get what we feel is a safe guesstimate of the year range of production, and Dunhill receives a silent curse from our evaluator. The nondescript grain on the left of the bowl is more than made up by a delightful grain on the remaining two hundred and seventy degrees, and that sterling military mount adds a dash of panache, in addition to a great deal of practicality.
please consider the photos as item description, all my list will sold as it is.
It is used pipe , I did my best to clean and buff it, I did clean all my pipes from outside, left the inside for my customers standards and personal use.
