English Estates Comoy’s Smooth Billiard 18K Gold (6) (150th Anniversary) Pipe. Condition is “Used”. Shipped with USPS First Class.
Pre smoked in very good condition, replacement stem, there is big bent on the side og the bowl, but still in amazing condition, and collectible piece
Normally we would put “pre-transition” in the title, but this one was getting a little long, and since Comoy’s 150th anniversary came about in 1975, well, I doubt a Comoy’s collector would miss it. These were originally released as a limited edition of 1000 gold-banded pipes, including those presented in six-pipe sets. Allegedly the run of the sets numbered 150 total, which would have meant they constituted 900 out of the total 1000 briars produced. we do know. Most examples I’ve been able to turn up (and granted, that isn’t many) bore champagne-colored stems, but on this example we find one in classic black instead.
