Bari’s shape chart is usually one of fairly classic Danish design, yet every now and then we’ll receive a piece that’s more Freehand than anything. This particular piece is a fine example, featuring a gestural Egg base shape, only executed with plenty of flourish that likens its to Fancy style Freehand designs. The negative space created by the saddle stem accentuates the stummel’s visual presence before continuing its graceful arch.
